British Vegan Food Giveaway!
I’ve had quite a few questions about specific vegan snacks I’ve posted on here before, and unfortunately a lot of them are only available in the UK. So I thought hey - why not let other people have a chance to taste some of these delicious goodies? :D
The foods are -
- Doves Farm Organic, gluten free lemon zest cookies. (These are the tastiest biscuits I’ve ever had, vegan or not!)
- Bounce Natural Energy Ball - Spirulina and Ginseng. (It doesn’t look all that appetising when you take it out of the packet, but it tastes like marzipan!)
- Nakd Cocoa Orange bar - (Raw, super healthy and super delicious! It tastes like Terry’s Chocolate Orange, yum.)
- Golden Coconut & Dark Chocolate bar - (An organic, vegan version of a bounty!)
- Raw Chocolate Cardamom and Apricot Pie - (Essentially it’s healthy chocolate! I’ve written about these before here.)
- Organic tea.
- A Graze box, filled with 4 different goodies. (I’ve also written about Graze boxes before!)
So, how can I enter? Well, you can enter in two ways -
- Reblog this post, as many times as you want. I will ship anywhere!
- Comment on this post. You can do this via my site - this is particularly for those who don’t have a tumblr account, but you can also comment if you do have a tumblr account. :)
No, you don’t have to be following me, but it would be awfully nice if you would! Please have your ask box open/be willing to give me your e-mail once I announce the winner.
The giveaway will end on Sunday 2nd September at 7pm, GMT. Good luck!
Interested in an INNER THIGH GAP?
I know this is a HUGE goal for many girls losing weight…and especially on Tumblr! This workout will definitely target the inner thighs but I cannot guarantee that you will get a gap because it also has something to do with how wide your hip bones are set apart. So work out to get fit and strong - do not get crazy and obsessive about achieving the gap!
I designed the workout to truly target your inner thighs so I think you will love this. You’ll also notice that some of your fellow POPsters are featured in this video :)
Have fun and enjoy!

I went back home for a week and totally got back into my old bad habits (eating not vegan things, binging, eating at night, sleeping during the day) and I feel so bloated and disgusting!
My weight has ballooned back to 82 kg, so it’s time to do something about it!
My dad is the biggest inspiration, he recently ran a marathon and he’s so fit and encouraging…he gave me a whole lot of running stuff (technical t shirts and shorts and a good pair of running shoes) and I don’t want to disappoint him anymore being lazy.
I have to go running at least a couple of times per week, even if I have to go on my own (I used to go with a friend, but it’s hard to find a convenient time for both of us).
My adorable boyfriend gave me a little mp3 player for my birthday to keep me from getting bored and discouraged if I have to run on my own, so I really don’t have any excuse anymore.
The Power of Coconut Oil: Four Non-Kitchen Uses from Healthful Pursuit
Hair/Scalp Conditioning Treatment
For the first time ever, this winter I was experiencing a very dry scalp. I started to develop dandruff and was becoming quite self conscious about it. I had used coconut oil as a deep conditioning treatment for my hair before, but never really massaged it into my scalp. A few weeks ago, I used about ¼ cup of melted coconut oil and massaged it into my scalp and hair. I let it sit in my hair for about a half hour before I hopped into the shower to rinse it out. Not only did my dry scalp disappear, my hair looked shiny and healthy in a matter of minutes!Cuticles
Regardless of what I do, I can never get my cuticles to be moisturized and healthy. They are always breaking, hanging, and hurting! It is pretty unsightly to have cuticles that are cracking and bleeding. Just like when I use the coconut oil for my scalp, I have been massaging the coconut oil into my cuticles every once in a while when they get too dry. It has been working wonders!Makeup Remover
Coconut oil is an AWESOME makeup remover, specifically for eyes. I don’t even know how I discovered this, but one night after I ran out of eye makeup remover, I decided to give the coconut oil a try. I put a little on a cotton ball and started swiping at my makeup. Low and behold, it works!Dry Patches
Are you starting to realize how dry my skin gets in the wintertime? I hate having flaky skin on my face, so using a little dab of coconut oil on dry patches on my skin has really been helpful. For me, I am not a person who can use coconut oil as an all over moisturizer on my face (trial by error!) but some people swear by it. But I am able to moisturize in small amounts with the coconut oil!
so good to know, I never knew how to pick good ones before, thanks!

Yesterday went well! It definitely helped that 99.9% of my day was consume with a scientific paper on poikilotherm and homeothermic respiration…. But it went well! Today I feel good! I am having trouble coming up with veggie juice recipes that don’t make me gag… I love tomatoes but tomato juice makes me sick!! What the hell!!
Try mixing green vegetables with fruit, it really helps.
A favourite of mine is made with spinach, raspberries and lime.
Spinach and especially cucumber are pretty tasteless when mixed with fruit and they create lovely juices ( you should try green grapes, cucumber, lime, plums and melon, it tastes like sweet lemonade and it’s so good when you’re thirsty!)
